Administration
Meet the Team
At Midtown Elementary School, we believe strong relationships are the heart of a thriving school community. Our administration team is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where students, staff, and families feel valued and empowered to succeed.
Together, Mrs. Demeester and Mrs. Cecil work closely with teachers, students, and families to foster a culture of excellence, kindness, collaboration, and school pride. Whether they are visiting classrooms, cheering students on at events, supporting teachers, or greeting families in the hallways, they are committed to making Midtown a place where every child can grow and thrive.
We are proud to have leaders who care deeply about our Wildcats and the community we serve!
Meet Daryl
One of the most special members of the Midtown family is our school service dog, Daryl! Daryl plays an important role in helping create a welcoming, supportive, and student-centered environment for our Wildcats each day.
Daryl helps promote a calm and positive atmosphere throughout the school while supporting students socially and emotionally. Whether greeting students in the morning, visiting classrooms, listening to students read, or simply offering comfort during the school day, Daryl brings joy, encouragement, and connection to our campus community.
At Midtown Elementary, we believe learning happens best when students feel safe, supported, and loved — and Daryl is a big part of helping make that possible. He has quickly become a favorite among students, staff, and families and is truly part of the Wildcat family!
